Get outdoors

Head over to Lookout Mountain Trailhead for excellent hiking (with trails rated from “easiest” to “moderate/difficult”) and some amazing views. Visit phoenix.gov/parks/trails.

Glass Fusing class at Phoenix Center for the Arts

Spring classes at Phoenix Center for the Arts began this month. Session 2 begins in March. Classes are available both online and in-person.

Take in some culture

Thunderbird Arts Center (1106 E. Grovers Ave.), an extension of the Phoenix Center for the Arts, works in partnership with the City of Phoenix to offer classes in ceramics, mosaics, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, youth art and more. In-person classes expect to remain closed through Spring 2021, but online classes are available.
