Thunderbird Artists festivals are widely known as “a Collectors’ Paradise,” and this award-winning festival boasts over 150 meticulously juried fine artists exhibiting a wide range of mediums.

When: Jan. 15–17; 10am to 5pm each day

Admission: $3 for adults, 18 and over; parking is free

Featured Artist: Ceramic potter, Hong Rubinstein. Rubinstein grew up in China and has had a passion for the arts as long as she can remember. She draws inspiration from everything around her: nature, the ocean and coast, the desert and natural world.

Featured Entertainment: AfterGlow specializes in playing high-energy contemporary jazz and funk tunes. The band's instrumentation consists of drums, percussion, keyboards, guitar, bass and sax. All the members have a passion to play exciting, fun and funky jazz that keeps audiences entertained and engaged.

Nearby: In addition to the delicious food from participating vendors, patrons will have many dining options with Carefree’s surrounding restaurants and outdoor cafes.

There’s Wine, Too: A vast array of domestic and imported wines will be available for tasting, as well as ice cold microbrews and flavored spirits. There is a fee of $10, which includes an engraved souvenir wine glass and six wine tasting tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1.
