CITYSunTimes is partnering with Carefree Resort and Conference Center and Carefree Truth to present “Meet the Carefree Candidates Night”. The forum will take place at the resort from 6-8pm on Monday, February 11. The forum’s panel will be made up of Carefree citizen Karen Smith-Lovejoy, Foothills Caring Corps Executive Director Debbra Determan, and Robert Gabrick, owner of Carefree Station Bar and Grill. The moderator with be Carefree citizen Tim Reilly. Each of the candidates has committed to attending. A one-hour question and answer period will kick off the forum at 6:30pm.

“We have a good field and this is an excellent opportunity for you to meet each candidate and to get a feel for how they would like to see Carefree progress,” says Lyn Hitchon with Carefree Truth, who will also emcee the event.

The Q & A period will last for 1 hour, after which the candidates will mingle with the audience to chat and answer questions. The resort will host a cash bar beginning at 6pm. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be offered during the meet and greet segment. The forum will be held in the resort’s Saguaro Ballroom, located at 37220 Mule Train Road, in Carefree. Everyone is welcome to this free event.
