Joint Art Exhibit: An Artist And Her Students

Trish Mayberry, along with selected students from her children’s fine art classes, is featured in “An Artist and Her Students,” a unique exhibit at the Gainey Ranch office of Northern Trust.
Mayberry, a professional artist who works in acrylic on paper, is showing paintings from several series, including her whimsical Pastiche Series of people and buildings. Her most recent Retablo Series strikes a more personal note and incorporates old images of her mother.
Exhibiting with her are 69 of her grade school and high school students, ranging in age from seven to 18. Many of these talented children have studied with Mayberry for years and are creating exceptional artwork. The student exhibit includes drawings done in pencil, ink, pastel and charcoal as well as oil paintings.
The exhibit will remain on display through January 14 at Northern Trust, 7600 East Doubletree Ranch Road, Scottsdale. Bank hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm. For information, call 480.948.8565 or visit trishmayberry.com.
