Program Provides More Than Dance Training

AZDance Group, a non-profit 501c(3) professional contemporary touring dance company under the direction of Kenda Newbury, creates and presents productions that entertain, educate and inspire, as well as give back to communities.
Movement E-Motion, created by Newbury in September 2005, is a dance program that provides dance training to young adults with Down Syndrome, Autism and physical challenges, while also providing a social outlet and a safe physical activity all in a place in which they are challenged, guided and loved.
The company will hold its first performances at the 5th Annual Christmas Dance Concert at Paradise Valley Community College’s Performing Arts Center in Phoenix on December 6 at 2pm, and at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center in the North Scottsdale/Cave Creek area on January 10 at 2pm.

Holiday Stressbuster: Thanksgiving-To-Go

This year, why not make your Thanksgiving celebrations a piece of cake (or pie....)

Chef Vincent Guerithault will once again take the stress out of preparing a Thanksgiving feast for family and friends with his scrumptious, no-hassle Thanksgiving-To-Go menu, incorporating all of the trimmings of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Try his traditional roast turkey with sage or cornbread dressing and gravy, accompanied by sweet potatoes; green bean casserole; Dauphinois potatoes; cranberry relish; herb rolls and croissants; and for dessert, pecan, pumpkin or apple pie. This menu is priced at $37 per person, exclusive of tax. Vincent’s offers a discount for parties of 10 or more. Custom menus can also be created and turkey and dressing may be purchased separately. Other additional items sold separately include Vincent’s gravy, condiments and hors d’oeuvres, salads, soups, hot side dishes like garlic mashed potatoes, and holiday pies.

Feasts are packaged to go with detailed reheating instructions, and ready for pick-up on Wednesday, November 25 after 3pm or Thanksgiving Day, November 26 between 10am-12pm.
