Trigun: Badland RumbleMOVIE REVIEW

Trigun: Badlands Rumble

By Ruinous

Trigun: Badlands Rumble is an action-packed expansion of one of the most popular comic book franchises out of Japan in the past decade and a half.
Trigun: Badlands Rumble is reminiscent of the original Star Wars and old spaghetti westerns with a hilarious touch of the grotesque that only Japanese anime can bring to animation. The animation is fluid and keeps your attention throughout the film, and the settings, creatures and vehicles are original and imaginative. A story of revenge, robbery, and redemption, Trigun: Badlands Rumble, is extremely enjoyable for fans of modern westerns like Desperado or shows like Firefly.
Caution, Trigun is very violent and has strong language and is not recommended for children or viewers who might be easily offended.
Trigun: Badlands Rumble opens July 8 at Harkins Valley Art Theatre and will run thru Thursday, July 14. For show times and information, visit www.harkinstheatres.com.
