Among all the community publications, yours is the most classy, as well as the most colorful. Keep up the great work!

On behalf of the Paradise Valley High School Baseball Booster Club, I send you and your staff a strong expression of appreciation for your support of our 4th Annual Golf Tournament, recently held at the Raven Golf Club. Your publication has not only helped us to publicize this event, but also allowed us to have space in your paper to thank all of our sponsors. Talk about being involved with our community. You are. In our score book, you hit a home run, and we appreciate it. Thanks for your total involvement.

All of us at Banner of Hope are sending you a kiss and hug today. I just received a call from a gentleman whose wife is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. He saw the article in YOUR NEWSPAPER about our upcoming fundraising event, called me and bought a RUNWAY TABLE right then and there! We are so appreciative of your support as our media sponsor. It’s obvious the power of the press is alive and well! We will miss seeing you strutting down the runway again this year as we celebrate the lives of our breast cancer survivor models.

I was delighted when the first copy of TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes was delivered to my door. Although it was quite small [at the time], I had no doubt that it would grow because the need for a regionalized newspaper has been proven. Since that time, it seems every issue has grown and with it the information, articles and local advertisers. I read the newspaper cover to cover each delivery. I use many of the local advertisers. Thanks for contributing so much to the community.

I am happy I took the time to read TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes in its entirety. Thank goodness I didn’t miss two articles that appeared in your paper this month. The first article was written by a 17-year-old with the insight and compassion of a much more “worldly” person. Carly Goldberg’s column “Valentine’s Day for the Single Soul” was touching, filled with compassion and understanding. I included her ideas about love in an e-mail to my children who happen to be single. I feel it will help to brighten their day. Thanks to Carly for her suggestions and her rare insight into people’s feelings. She is an outstanding young lady. Please convey my appreciation and gratitude to her. Her parents deserve recognition and praise, also! Now for the second article, written by a very special lady, Hope Ozer. She wrote about relationships and how they evolve through the years. Before I was even halfway through the article I developed a lump in my throat and tears started streaming down my cheeks. Could it be that I related to the ever-changing relationship she spoke of? Even now, as I write, the words are blurred because this talented lady has a way of touching the heart and pulling the strings. Congratulations for having two people on your staff that are filled with compassion and love – and have the ability to convey that to others, in writing. I love TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes!
